I am back in the US. I feel fine, not missing Uganda yet! Not the blue skies, nor the songbirds!! Maybe a month is too soon to start missing a place that you have left behind, never to return. Or may be I will never miss it? I wil add my thoughts on this sometime in the next month.

By the way, you might be having so many stories tell about Africa. Yes, it does conjure up so many romantic images: Tarzan of the Apes, Phantom, King Solomon's mines, The Snows of Kiliminjaro and so many others.
